Our Place Cookware began in 2019 with a question: Why do we need so many different pots and pans when one well-designed piece could do it all? Founded by Shiza Shahid, Our Place was born from a desire to reimagine the modern kitchen with products that are as beautiful as they are functional.
Growing up in a Pakistani household, our founder noticed how cooking brought families together across cultures. She wanted to create cookware that honored these traditions while meeting the needs of modern home cooks living in smaller spaces. The result was the Always Pan, a revolutionary 8-in-1 design that quickly became a viral sensation.
What started as a single pan has grown into a complete collection of thoughtfully designed kitchenware that has transformed how millions of people cook. The Pan That Started It All
In 2019, Our Place launched the Always Pan, a revolutionary 8-in-1 cookware piece that challenged everything people thought they knew about kitchen essentials. Designed to replace eight traditional pieces, the Always Pan became an instant viral sensation, selling out within weeks of its launch.
What made the Always Pan so special? It combined thoughtful design with incredible functionality. The pan could braise, sear, steam, strain, sauté, fry, boil, and serve, all while looking beautiful enough to go from stovetop to table. Its modular steam basket and integrated spoon rest solved common cooking frustrations, while the ceramic non-stick coating eliminated the need for toxic chemicals.
The Always Pan 2.0, launched in 2025, improved on the original with even better non-stick performance, more durable materials, and enhanced heat distribution. Today, it remains our most beloved product and a testament to Our Place's commitment to innovation and thoughtful design.
